I love music, most of all. I spend a lot of time on my computer looking for new music... also here on SAF, poker and other games, chatting, research and reading (especially health and psych-related stuff). I also like to play around on my keyboard, watch movies, and read books. I used to live near an arts district, and would sometimes walk down the street and grab a coffee and look around a bit.
Love to visit nearby parks and trails, especially ones I never knew existed. Love traveling, though I haven't been many places, in part due to finances, but probably more so due to SA. But I CAN say I've been to Mexico (yay!). I also like to write.

Hello and welcome. ~ I'm Mandy. I was diagnosed with SAD about 6 years ago, but I've always been quiet, introverted, and scared :O Work has been a real struggle in the past year, and now I'm pretty much broke and in major debt. I just moved back in with my parents a couple months ago, after four years of living on my own.
This site has helped me to understand myself and others with SA so much better. It's nice to know I'm not alone.

How You Live Your Life
You seem to be straight forward, but you keep a lot inside.
You're laid back and chill, but sometimes you care too much about what others think.
You tend to have one best friend you hang with, as opposed to many aquaintences.
You tend to dream big, but you worry that your dreams aren't attainable.
"Don't be discouraged by a failure. It can be a positive experience. Failure is, in a sense, the highway to success, inasmuch as every discovery of what is false leads us to seek earnestly after what is true, and every fresh experience points out some form of error which we shall afterwards carefully avoid." -John Keats
"We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot." -Eleanor Roosevelt
"I have found that the greatest help in meeting any problem is to know where you yourself stand. That is, to have in words what you believe and are acting from." -William Faulkner"Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past,
Stop planning the future,
Stop trying to figure out precisely how we feel;
Sometimes we just have to go with...
'Whatever happens - happens.'" -Unknown
Haha. Good job on the prank. Popcorn as in the edible kind or the styrofoam packaging stuff? If the former, it would be a waste of good movie theater food! Here's a harmless prank I attempted on a friend: squirt a little shampoo (the white gooey kind) into some rolled out condoms and toss them over the victim's windshield. Make sure some of the shampoo leaks out. lol.
Too bad about the job lead. But like you said, there are more opportunities. I'm currently looking for a part-time office job with steady income so I can rent my own apartment. Feel free to steal my songs. They aren't mine in the first place anyway.
