I love music, most of all. I spend a lot of time on my computer... here on SAF, hulu.com and netflix, finding new music, poker and other games, research and reading. I also like to play around on my keyboard, watch movies, read books. I live near an arts district, and I like to walk down the street, when I'm up to it, and grab a cup of coffee and look around a bit. Also like to visit as many nearby parks and trails as I can find. Love traveling, though I haven't been many places, in part due to finances, but probably more so due to SA. But I CAN say I've been to Mexico (yay!). I also like to write.

Hello and welcome ~ I'm Mandy. I was diagnosed with SAD 5 years ago, but I've always been quiet, introverted, and scared :O I've made some improvement through therapy and meds, but have felt myself going back downhill lately. Work has been a real struggle in the past year, and now I'm pretty much broke and in major debt. I live alone, and now mostly work alone... I spend way more time than is healthy by myself.
So, I'm basically here to talk with people who have the same difficulties as me, and learn how to just plain talk to people, while being true to myself. And get to know what it's like for others with SA.
If this is your first time visiting my page, please feel free to leave a comment or a message!

"Don't be discouraged by a failure. It can be a positive experience. Failure is, in a sense, the highway to success, inasmuch as every discovery of what is false leads us to seek earnestly after what is true, and every fresh experience points out some form of error which we shall afterwards carefully avoid." -John Keats
“We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
“I have found that the greatest help in meeting any problem is to know where you yourself stand. That is, to have in words what you believe and are acting from.” -William Faulkner
I'm really happy to hear that. No I wasn't too stressed out just a little worried you wouldn't like me. But that's just me being insecure Mandy. lol I would definitely like to talk to you again very soon! :D
TTYL!
Today was fine until I came home. You ever cut yourself open with a fork? Well, I cut my finger with a fork. I was washing it and it slipped. It made a sword "Ching!" sound and cut my finger. lol
I played with picture with GIMP. The less altered version is on flickr. Thanks for the comment.
Hey Mandy yes I'm doing well. I wanted to tell you I really enjoyed chatting with you the other night. I wasn't really sure how it went though...like if it stressed you out or it was fun. haha Anyway, yeah talk to you soon. Good luck this coming week. :D
