The ocean, nature (beach, mountains, woods, desert-deserted, naturalistic beaches are my absolute favorite), animals, plants, interesting human minds and warm human hearts.

Egotistical, judgmental, uninformed, narrow-minded and narrow-hearted types of persons-i.e., the majority (but not all, thank god) of those I've known, met, or learned about in my 47 years on this earth.

I've been painfully shy all of my life. I usually prefer plants and animals to people, because they are unjudgmental, consistent, affectionate, and completely true to themselves. I try to follow their example in all respects.

I've always very much liked anyone who was fond of me. However, my social anxiety and eclectic interests severely limited that population. I do have my hubby, my best friend, so that's a tremendous blessing.
