Hmmm.....you mean Spanish/French is forbidden in the Catalan section of France, or the other way around?

I know that the Basques (vascos?) have had an issue with the Spaniards (espanoles), but I never knew that the Catalans wanted the same. I always pictured Barcelona as the cool, yet, different, but just as important part of Spain. It's always one of the top cities that comes to mind - outside of Madrid and Seville. :)

Catalan looks like it's got some Italian influence in there . It is a completely different language, though. Do they have bilingual signs in your state of Spain? :)
