Yeah a week isn't long enough to see/experience everything that's good about Vegas. And then when you go back there is always something new from the last time!

I agree, the Mirage is one of my favourite hotels on the Strip. The Stratosphere is fun too - I went all the way to the top and went on the rollercoaster and the thing that shoots up in the air really quick (dunno what they are called) and back down again. Amazing!

Did you see any shows etc while you were there? Did you see the Fremont Street Experience? I usually stay downtown, off the strip in either the California Hotel or Main Street Station. I just found that the dealers/people at the tables are a bit more relaxed/friendly. I still baulk at plopping down a $20 bet on a game of Pai Gow Poker lol. The tables are fun but more money involved. Did you do much gambling? Which machines/tables did you try?

Hmm all this talk is really making me want to return

You're so lucky getting to go to Vegas, I love it there - probably the place I most want to visit again (I've been plenty of times). What did you do, where did you go, favourite hotels etc?

The buffets are something else too, huh
