Hi Mindy, I was really interested to hear about your family history. Thats fasinating that your Grandmother had memories of Henrietta and that she probably walked the "trail of tears". That makes me sad when I think of her possibly doing this. I watched an excellent BBC 10 part series a few years ago about the history of Native Americans. It was very comprehensive and had amazing archive footage and interviews. I have been trying to get it on DVD since. I spotted in a store about a year ago but it was sold the following day Did you know that during the Great Famine in Ireland 1845-48 the Choctaw Indians heard about all the people starving in Ireland and raised a large sum of money to be sent to help the starving. There is a walk commerating the famine evry year in County mayo, on the west coast which was one of the worst parts of the country effected by the famine and there and members of the Choctaw come over to take part. I am rather excited at the moment as about 4 weeks ago 2 collered doves nested on my balcony. I have been photgraphing their progress ever since and they are now ready to fly. Yesterday I thought they were going to leave the nest but I think they are a little too fond of it and "chickened out" I will be putting up some photos soon of their progress.
I'm a wreck..but I'm doing a good job of hiding this, saying things like,"Your gonna have SO much FUN!" etc.
That poor child, he has no clue what he's in for. Naw, truthfully, some kids do enjoy school. I had a neighbor that adored school and could never wait for summer to end. I thought she was insane at the time. So is all the shopping done now? Have they started back yet?
No worries about DHW, every episode's a season premiere to me. So your son was looking up shark attacks??? That reminds me of an episode of friends involving Chandler and Monica. Have you seen it?
im glad you got thru those school functions okay. and it was perfectly justified for you to go out to the car...who wants to sit ain a crowded, noisy school cafeteria and nurse a baby ? guys can be pretty insensitive about that stuff, especially if they dont know how it is to feel anxious. i assume your man doesnt have anxiety issues....? im sure you will get thru the next and last one just fine. oh yeah, thanks for commenting on my vids . i hope you are feeling okay today. ttys.
hi there . the vid you posted on my page didnt work, so i deleted it. just wanted to tell you, so you didnt think i deleted because i didnt like it. hope you are having a nice, relatively stress-free day
Uh yeah, that GAP Map? I'll have you know that I'm a 6 minute $33 shopper and NOT a 3 Hr 26 min $876 shopper! I haven't forgotten you darling! Last night was a long one and I'm hittin' the hay early tonight! I hope you're not out there scouring Marshfield looking for little old lesbians and turning THEM to the life of crime! I think straight people are funny too! You and wildcat are at the top of my list of SAF to reply to tomorrow... BEWARE!!!! PROTECT YOURSELVES!!! HEAR THAT WILDCAT?
Unfortunately I don't have a photo of my Grand-Uncle. I do have his medals in my possession though and know where he got killed. I love genealogy and have gone back as far as 1816. I can't go back any further due to there been very little records available in Ireland. Most were Destroyed in the Irish Civil War which makes tracing back any further impossible! My Grandfather also was in the Irish army and fought in the Irish Civil War in 1921. I have a lovely photo of him in uniform . I love travelling and seeing new places. I am going to Amsterdam with my husband for a few days in October. My SA really only effects me going into certain places where there may be alot of people etc. Usually I can manage this pretty well by just avoiding places I don't feel comfortable in. Have you travelled?
Lol, cute image with the man and woman shopping at the mall. I hate shopping with a vengeance.
I caught some of "Desperate Housewives," though I was going back and forth between it and the closing ceremonies of the Olympics. It seems to have it's share of absurd moments, which is awesome! One of the networks here is apparently picking it up in syndication starting sometime in September, so I might be able to catch some of the earlier episdoes.
