been alright, this is kind of different for me as I have never discussed SA with anyone and stubbled upon this site, hoping to find out more about SA here..anyway liked your profile and ur pic just wanted to say hi
I like it a lot! Well... this snow we've been having. :S It's now a gigantic pile of ice in my driveway and it's a pain. How long have you lived here?
...I know of two other people with SAD in reno besides us! My sister, and this boy at my work. It takes one to know one, and he's got it BAD. :) Maybe even worse than me!
Yeah, it sounds like a hard language to speak. Japanese was actually pretty easy for the most to pronounce because its kind of a flat language. I don't think I could ever attempt to learn something like Russian, but it'd be cool to be able to have that accent.. I could be like Drago from Rocky hehe
I have a friend from Hungary actually, you might want to stay away from some of their food when you go there :P
Yeah, I was taller than most of the Japanese there. When I first went there I lived in this old house and the door frames were low... so I was ALWAYS hitting my head lol
Hehe, I can understand the raw fish thing, thats not for everyone! But you'd be surprised at all the western foods they have there... They make MUCH better Italian food than we do :P
Russia, eh? I think you're the first girl that has told me they wanted to see Russia. I wouldn't mind seeing that place, lots of amazing architecture there. I kind of want to see Romania too and plus it cheap there.
I learned basically survival Japanese! I worked a restaurant for sometime as a drink runner... So I really didn't need to learn too much, but the basics. I wish now I spent more time learning the language, it could have come in handy over here.
Well, I always was interested in Japan and at the time I had a girlfriend that was from there. So when she went back, I went to go visit her and ended up staying for a couple years... Eventually, things didn't really quite workout and I was getting homesick, so I came back.
I've been back for I think 4 years now, I'd like to go back sometime though... its really a cool place and the food is unbeatable IMO :)
Oh yeah, thats one of my favorite remixes from the 80s (one night in bangkok)! It just a awesome vibe. There is a bunch of 80s songs that have been remixed to trance, like bon jovi, theme song from lost boys, etc. If I could host them somewhere, I'd put them on my playlist.
Hmm, skeletons dancing around...Doesn't really ring a bell, only thing I can think of off the top of my head is busta rhymes, put your hands where I can see. But I don't think thats what you're talking about :(
Well to be honest, I've never been a huge anime guy. I like the animations, but I've never actively read the manga or anything. I did look through the bookstore and saw some cool stuff, but when I saw the price, I put the book away lol. How about you?
Well, Rob Zombie made White Zombie... and later on Spider (Robs brother) went on to make a band called Powerman 5000 after his favorite comic book as a kid (they both have that cooky sci-fi thing going on lol). The band had a lot of underground success but it wasn't till Rob helped Spider with producing, Tonight the Stars Revolt, that they finally got some real mainstream recognition.
I was a big fan of the band when I was in high school (even now, look at my screen name:P). Also, I had the same hairstyle, so everyone thought I looked like him, which I played to my advantage haha.
Now you know the whole history of PM5K, even if you didn't want to hear it!
I like a lot of the 80s music too. Orgies remix of Blue Monday is one of my favs. Did you listen to the Dope remix of Spin me around?
