Im on 20mg of paxil a day, and missed 2 days worth and am paying for it now, had intense feelings of 'insanity' and 'doom' it wasnt very nice, Paxil for me has been good for the past 4 months and I had no idea how bad it could be if you missed a dose

I feel like my brain went to hell and came back, I still dont feel 100% but I feel like im going to be okay now, scary stuff

dont ever miss a dose!

07/23/2008 11:07:43 I know how you feel. I was on paxil for a while and missing a dose was bad, missing two was terrible. Getting off it was even worse. Chocolate and dramamine help a bit, the dramamine i think is better if you feel dizzy. I got dizzy.

07/23/2008 10:53:46 Paxil "withdrawal" can be nasty... take it from someone who knows... they should tell you that this is a possibility when you first start taking it...

07/22/2008 11:28:25 The brain zaps are usually a bad sign. I am on 20mg of Paxil, too! I can usually get by with one day off, but more than that and it can get ugly. :( I am glad you are back on track, my friend! :)

07/22/2008 03:24:12 You should go buy one of those med storage containers. It has individual days with four places to put meds and there is a lid that snaps on. You know by looking at it if you missed a dose. You can buy them at Walmart or any pharmacy.
