Life is too short. I've learned that it's best to always be considerate of others because you never know what the other person is going through in life. We all have our struggles in this world, and I've always felt it's best to help bring others up no matter what, even when some try to bring you down. My whole perspective of life changed when I started going with my dad to his cancer treatments at the VA hospital and the Moffit Cancer Center here in Tampa, and seeing soldiers from Iraq with no arms and legs riding segways or in wheelchairs. Thinking it could have been me if I had enlisted. My dad was there in Iraq, seen what happened, told me not to join the military for fear of losing me. He saved lives there (he was a surgeon, a colonel in the Air Force, before having to retire due to colon cancer).
Life is too short. Make the best and the most of everything that comes your way, everyday.
That's my thought of the day.
