I'm an incredible actor, like many of you here. I mean....I'm really, really good. My family thinks I'm calm and relaxed. All my friends think I'm fun and outgoing. I'm the best outside salesman our company employs. All the while I'm shaking and frightened on the inside like a lost 4 year old. I'm a walking oxymoron. I consider myself blessed and cursed at the same time. Life's journey is sooo interesting when you travel 24/7 on the verge of a panic attack. Never give up!

Singapore's great - when I was there the guides would tell us about how the government devised systems for providing water or cooling/air conditioning. I was impressed with how well-planned the city seemed to be and how they've made a conscious effort to have more eco-friendly development. And I agree about the kindness and hospitality in Thailand - it's evident here as well if you're a guest :)

Hm...we used to go on trips to see relatives. I liked SF and NYC but that's because I like cities in general, and Washington DC...I did like some of the smaller towns we passed through en route to NY when we drove up from MD, I think I'd like to see them again in fall when the trees have turned color.

Yeah I know what you mean - I should make the most of those periods when they do come. They always seem so short though.

I was born here actually. :) We'd always used English at home (or used to, my mother's stopped because she interacts with people who use Tagalog more often) and going to the States at an early age certainly helped.

I'm supposed to be visiting Hong Kong soon - I haven't been back there since I was a kid, so I'm looking forward to it :) I visited Bangkok long ago and I wouldn't mind going back sometime, though I guess now is a bad time :) I'd recommend Kuala Lumpur and Singapore too.

Traveling Europe's one thing I hope to accomplish while I'm still (relatively) young! If only it weren't so costly :)
