I am 37 year old male living alone in a nice suburb of Detroit. I have lived here in Michigan my whole life. I work in the auto industry as an engineer for one of the Big 3. I have a great job and get to drive all the new cars coming out to 2011 MY.

I have always been shy, but made some progress over the years. I do OK in work environments, but have a lot of difficulty in social situations. I had some health problems which caused me to lose confidence. Lately, I try to avoid all social events. Unfortunately, I am way too good at avoiding social things and spend most of my time alone. Take care.
