HOBBIES
I used to like to collect CDs esecially soundtracks, but I got bored with that. I'm looking for new hobbies now outside the house.

MOVIES
I like sci-fi, action, horror and some drama.

MUSIC
I like Rock, Pop, Classical, and Jazz. I'll pretty much listen to anything except rap. I also like to listen to J-pop. I'm a huge Ayumi Hamasaki fan! I like Koda Kumi and Utada Hikaru as well!

I like Black Sabbath, ZZTop, Judas Priest and bunch of other bands.

BOOKS
I'm not an huge reader. But I enjoy sci-fi books. I also like the ocassional thriller.

ABOUT ME
Well, I'm not very good at talking about myself. Anyway, my name's Jon. I'm 25, I work and live at home with my parents. I'm looking to move out, but i't very difficult.

I was diagnosed with Social Anxiety and Severe Depression just this year. I believe I've had it since my early teens. High school was a nightmare, college was a bit better, but not much. So here I am. I've just started making new firends again after 7 years of solitude. I've also never had a girlfriend. I tried dating for the first time this summer, but I didn't get far.

I am seeing a therapist right now, and I've been having some suicidal thoughts lately as well, so my doctor is sending me to a psychiatrist too.

Well, that's all I can think of. Anyway, I'm happy to be part of the community here!

I hear you when it comes to family outings. I am usually the reluctant one who stays home while they all split to go somewhere for a day/weekend. In fact, they split yesterday, while I was sleeping. I usually lock my door, so they know not to bother. But seriously, there are times when they have to bang on the door and get in my face about stuff. I know that I have responsibilities around the house etc, but i just want my privacy. Over this last weekend, I was feeling closer than I have ever been to moving out and getting my own place. Now that I am at work, I am feeling more productive then I was over the weekend. And since most of the people have left work already, I can now bask in sweet wonderful solitude and actually go online for a bit without anyone looking over my shoulder.

So, is the Patriot's fans group another group that you hang out with from time to time? With this on top of the kayaking meetup, I can see that you are making some really good first steps. Please keep up with this, and do more and more. Hopefully in the near future I can sort things out and start going out once in a while and doing things more often.

Hey Jon, glad to hear from you. This last weekend was not so good. I did absolutely nothing. I slept a lot through Saturday and Sunday. My stupid internet connection at home is not working either, so I was REALLY down.
