I've always been on the quiet and introverted side, but depression really exacerbated that during my teen years, causing me to turn inward to the point where I lost the desire and ability to really relate to most people. I'm most comfortable with one or two close friends in a chill environment. It's hard for me to enjoy myself in groups larger than that.
