I hear you when it comes to family outings. I am usually the reluctant one who stays home while they all split to go somewhere for a day/weekend. In fact, they split yesterday, while I was sleeping. I usually lock my door, so they know not to bother. But seriously, there are times when they have to bang on the door and get in my face about stuff. I know that I have responsibilities around the house etc, but i just want my privacy. Over this last weekend, I was feeling closer than I have ever been to moving out and getting my own place. Now that I am at work, I am feeling more productive then I was over the weekend. And since most of the people have left work already, I can now bask in sweet wonderful solitude and actually go online for a bit without anyone looking over my shoulder.
So, is the Patriot's fans group another group that you hang out with from time to time? With this on top of the kayaking meetup, I can see that you are making some really good first steps. Please keep up with this, and do more and more. Hopefully in the near future I can sort things out and start going out once in a while and doing things more often.
Yeah, family outings are really irritating, I try to stay home if I can. My parents can be like that as well. I'm definately thinking of moving out. I've made a good friend in Cali, she and I were looking for places last night and found a great place in Orange county. I think that would be good to just start over with a clean slate. Right now there isn't anything tying me here.
Hey Jon, glad to hear from you. This last weekend was not so good. I did absolutely nothing. I slept a lot through Saturday and Sunday. My stupid internet connection at home is not working either, so I was REALLY down.
Damn, sorry to hear that man. I didn't do much either. I stayed home on Saturday when my fam went to Maine. Didn't really feel like going after last week. Sunday I went to this Patriot's Fans meetup, it was nice, we just had some lunch and watched the game for a few hours. I was a little anxious, but at this point I'm just beyond caring.
