Phoenix has pretty much settled into the new school, and it's really great as far as I can tell. Heather is just not exactly doing what she should. She's more worried about socializing and hanging out with this new 'guy' friend LOL. She has her priorities all ####### up, so it's making everyone more stressed than they should have to be. She was barely even here this morning to take him to school. =/
But my birthday was pretty awesome! Besides being SICK! Gah, I know what you mean - but the thing is, I ALWAYS get sick..and it's hard to get completely better, so even still, I'm a little sick. I have a cough and runny nose/watery eyes deal. Bleh. I'm just glad I feel better than I did right before my birthday. I was bed-ridden.
I got to meet Dave too! He flew up ON my birthday, met my dad, my family, some friends..stayed for about 3 days..it was great, but I was sad to see him go. Fortunately, things worked out so well, he's going to move up here for me! He should be here by Christmas, so that's great. I'm happy!

You must have the power of a locomotive because even though you have so many excuses to turnout bad, you've actually almost gotten through college which is a majotr accomplishment. All those delinquents and bums and addicts should read your story and learn what they could do if they only had some will power!

Yeah it's okay you didn't reply for a while, I'm sure you had alot to reply to anyway ;) .you're right it is barbaric! It's a tradition that comes from the days when they used to hang people, so I'm not suprised really. Breaking your ankle does sound very scary, I hope it didn't go in any weird angles :P I found Cat's Cradle the other day, I'm going to put it on hold until I finish another book, I think I've already forgotten most of the plot now though, so might have to re-read some of it :/. I don't think I heard anyone over hear back McCain lol. Even when the BBC had live coverage of the election the Americans they had in the studio with them were all Obama supporters! I think everyone is pretty happy... yeah no more Bush yay! I'm not bad just having a really boring week at college ha... I've literally done nothing besides that exept sleep and eat :P. Yeah, it has been a long time, I haven't logged in for the past few months. Anyway, things are okay for me. Just doing the same usual stuffs like school, reading, and report writing. I am trying to go out and meet people every week but it is hard for me with SA. So, how are you doing?
aw haha , i think all fireworks are pretty impressive, apart from those scary ones that are a little too close.. i get scared of those haha Ohhh, that sucks, the gap in your life now haha! :( my boyfriend was following the elections too lol, but he's just like "wahey he won! good!" haha. and yes, laura is very smart lol, i look up to her for it, she's a good role model, i think she'll get far in life :)
