Sorry to hear about the rugby team's struggles! I live near Baltimore, a city that used to live and die with their baseball team. It's been over a decade since they've had a winning season, it really does affect the attitude of people around here. HEY!! Great to hear from you! I've been away since thursday at music sessions, and just catching up on here again. It's been a GRAET long weekend, and something i don't think I could've done if it hadn't been for being on here and being able to talk so openly to people. (and not feel so ALONE anymore!!)
I must admit to not being veggy either...gulp! I TRY to eat more veg, less meat, but I was told by an ayurveidic practitioner that my personality type NEEDS the protein from the meat, and usually he doesn't say that to people. my excuse and I'll stick to it for now... If I had to 'kill' the animal...it'd be WAY different of course...I'd need to be VERY hungry...if at all....

I really don't know what I want to do. I actually took some computer classes a couple of years ago, thinking I could transition to database programming, but it was too much to handle with a full-time job. Also, I really wasn't that into it. Problem is, I could never figure out what I actually want. I sort of fell into my career. I even tried getting low-paying clerical work last year, but my skills are sooo specific that I got few call backs. I joke w/people that I can't even work as a fruit-picker. I'm pretty useless outside of my profession. I envy people who are pretty happy with their job. U r very lucky.
well i got myspace a long time ago. and you can make them private if you want to. that is kinda nice. i like this site alot more. but my best friends usually send me something through myspace. i have some close friends that are not on the internet but they are into doing alot of things and now i just stay home and if they want to see me then they come to my house. which i am sure that they get tired of. but on here i have met people just like me and i feel more open here.
i still have a headache today but i have been sleeping alot more which is better. i better go get some stuff done around the house. i hope you are doing well

Yes politics is boring to me too. I mean i know it's good to stay informed and all, but i'll prolly only ever be able to tolerate it in moderation at the most lol. Wow i didn't know the changes in your country have only been in place since 1994. But i guess i'm just used to thinking it was the 60s and all here when changes started for here. That's cool those places seem friendlier. I'm guessing they are much more populated because u said they were rat races. I didn't know South Africa had such a variety of places. That sounds fun. Seems like it would be a cool area to go on vacation. Yea the U.S. is also kinda like that, just bigger i guess. So if u live here and go on vacation there would be more distance to travel and all.
thanks that makes me feel really good. i was trying something different. i have a myspace but it is not me. i feel like i can be me on here and that if i want to be plain i can and if i want to be flashy i can. in here it is as if SA doesn't exists. i fell comfy with all my new family on here. that is what i like to think about when i am having a bad day. not my firends because they come and go but who is truely my family related for not. ya know. man i have a bad headache today and i am not feeling too well. i am sorry i would write more but i can't/ thanks so much for emailing me i truely to love to get them...
