I just listened to the forecast online where you live and it is hot. 110 degrees. I couldn't take that. But at least you don't have the high humidity like here in the Midwest. So far it has been nice cool, low humidity weather where I live. Also, the black flies are done for the year. It was nice being out in the woods without them flying around my head and trying to suck the blood out of me.
I am not really doing much with the money. Some of it is going to have to be use to re shingle my house. Winter is very hard on roofs here. I have a few shingles that are tea cupping. I haven't decided when to get it done. I will have to get some estimates. I am kind of stalling waiting to see if the economy improves. My luck I will have it done then lose my job. Right now it isn't leaking. I think I will wait until Bush is out of office and hopes the next President does a good job fixing the economy.
No it isn't my video. I embedded it because I thought it was funny especially when the guy starts laughing when they were driving where there was a big pile of snow on the side of the road. This happened on what is called Minnesota point in Duluth. It is a narrow strip of land that goes out into Lake Superior. The wind really hits it causing the snow being blown into big snow drifts.I think this storm was last March or Apr which effected us to. Those two storms were very nasty. We had thunder and lightening with them. Some places around here had 60 inches. I think I had a good 30 inches from them.
It's getting hot where you live. It is 102 f where you live right now. We have been stuck with highs in the 50's and getting frost at night. I even ran into some snow falling Saturday morning in the higher terrain south of town here. It was coming down quite hard. Luckily, it didn't accumulate. We are plagued by a Hudson Bay High pressure keeping us cool. I am so sick of running the furnance. I want to shut the thing down completely for the summer. Suppose to get into the upper 60's this coming weekend. The black flies will be really coming out if it warms up and doesn't freeze at night. You never experienced hell till a swarm of black flies have sucked the blood out of you. Dad is rushing around getting all the outside work done before they get bad. Luckily, they are only bad until late June and then they die out.
