Hi, Yeah, I know what you mean. I've done really well at work too, loved the jobs I've worked, and have been extemely efficient at them, but usually avoid the social interactions as well. I'm also trying to get over this quickly for my child, although, you're lucky...yours is young. I didn't realize what I had back when he was growing up, and now at 21, I see him portraying all the signs of SA too. So, I need to get past it to teach him how to get past it. I wish you all the luck in the world. I know you'll overcome it. You have the best reason in the world to do it. :)
We might be going the route of a cook-out as well. Traditionally the reunion I attended last week was held on Memorial Day weekend, but the date's varied the past few years in an effort to get more people to come. Since then we really haven't planned anything for the holiday.
It's another pretty day here. Two in a row! I have some play-off games to watch tonight, so my night's set. :) Have an excellent Sunday, take care!
I'm sure it's great having cousins that are a similar age. I was in the middle of a big gap, so there were no cousins within five years of my age. I would always end up entertaining the little ones.
I've had impingement in my shoulders for the last ten years, and I don't really know why. I finally decided to find out about treatment, and PT was the first step. The exercises seem to help some, though they didn't exactly cure the problem. I doubt I'll go for further treatment, as I don't want surgery or corisone injections.
We finally have some beautiful weather here today. It's about time! Are you doing anything this weekend?
I actually enjoyed Idol last night, there was a lot of music, though I spent the first hour just listening as I was busy with some shoulder exercises I learned from Physical Therapy. Cook makes sense as the winner, between him and Archuleta, I think he has the most potential for a successful career.
Why aren't you pregnant and due in July? Come on, you're missing out! Do you do any gambling when you're in Vegas?
The weather here has been less than stellar. For most of the past week it's either been raining or overcast along with lots of wind. Today was the first time I walked in 3-4 days. The temperature has been in the 60s though, which I appreciate. Maybe summer won't make it here. =D
Do you typically visit Vegas for the family get togethers? Or do you have more family that visits from there besides your dad?
All I can say is if the public is influenced by the judges' opinions then Archuleta has it in the bag. I did prefer Archuleta over Cook last night, though I can't say that I fell in love with him (that'd be gay). I felt he had the better songs for one, and I didn't like the way Cook changed up the Collective Soul song.
We used to have four different family reunions a year, though I suppose we're down to three now since the person that was responsible for one has passed away. It's sad really, there were plans to celebrate her 100th birthday this year in Indiana, but she didn't make it. I know I should appreciate having so much family around, but the anxiety gets in the way of my enjoyment.
How long of a trip is it for your dad from Vegas to San Diego? I think it's funny you're worried about the 30 minute drive to your sister's. We don't have any family that nearby. It's all relative I guess. Anywhere you go around here takes at least 30 minutes because of all the traffic.
If your sister and her hubby decide to sell, would you be in a position to buy their house? It sounds like a great place to live.
Hey, thanks for the link to more great pics! I hope I do get to see San D some day. Man, i gotta win that lottery soon so I can check some things off my list :)~ Hope u are well. Take Care~~Mo
Your sis is along the beach? Why are you not over there every weekend? :P How often do you get to see your dad? Did you have a good time. It's cool he still surfs, that's not something you can really do with our waves on the East Coast. I do enjoy boogie boarding though.
Yes, the weather was cool enough. The reunion was set to start at 12 and run until 4 or 5. It started to pour rain at 12 and stopped at 4. Figures. It meant we had to huddle under a tent that had been rented. I was able to play catch (football) with some of my cousins and brother after the rain stopped. I always enjoy that since it's not something I get to do very often anymore.
