What I'm reading now: Voltaire's Bastards by John Ralston Saul

I'm more into historical analysis than fiction, and I always appreciate any reading suggestions. My interests lie in non-Western modern history (esp. that of sub-Saharan Africa).

And if you try to, you will be forced to do my laundry or worse yet, you will be fired and have to work at Staples.

Excellent. And I promise not to attempt to overthrow you.

Well, not anytime soon.

Wow, the Celexa must be working great! You know you're doing good when you're not afraid of a work party :). My husband was invited by his co-worker for us to go to a BBQ at his house this weekend. We'll probably go even though I'm not really comfortable with it. But I don't know any of them. Guess I'll know them soon!

I had my 3 yr old in a beauty contest at a 4th of July picnic. Can u believe I walked her out on stage in front of all those people? It wasn't so bad since there were plenty of mothers up there with their kids and I just focused on my daughter. She didn't win anything but there were 21 kids in it. I'm still surprised that I put her in it and went on stage. It helped that we had supportive family there. I'm realizing it's not a bad idea to leave my comfort zone and surprise myself sometimes

If I'm the second person in your Office group, does that make me your Number 2? Can I be the Dwight to your Michael? haha
