My name is Tim and I live in Greensboro, NC. I believe I've had SA all my life but just recently realized/admitted it. Unfortunately, I only admitted it after someone I really loved left me because of how I acted in social situations. That's where my SA really affects me. When I'm in social situations with large groups I am very uncomfortable and quiet. Many people view this as "stuck-up" but that is not me at all. I'm really a very friendly, funny, and caring person when you get to know me.

I have a BS in Chemical Engineering and currently work in the rubber and plastic foam industry. It's a great job with a great company but I can't help feel like I'm meant to do something else. I just need to figure out what that is.

I enjoy playing golf but my SA makes it difficult for me to find people to play with. I often end up playing by myself. I also like metal, hardcore, and other hard rock music (especially seeing live bands), working out (mostly lifting weights), and going out with close friends. I used to spend a lot of time working on my Audi S4 but totaled it recently :( Guess I made it too fast ;)
