Hi there :) Got your message. And yes, read your blogs. Wanted to respond to them, but there was no box to type something in. I don't know if it disappears after the first day or what. In response to your message...hon, I know you. I know that once you get into a chat room, you will be fine if you just be yourself. It's hard for me to come up with questions to ask sometimes, but you are much better at talking to people than I am, so I know you will be fine, once you just take that first step and get past the-worrying-about-it stage. I think once you do, you'll find you have a lot more people on here to talk to. They are all going through the same thing hon. They know how it feels too. I've met some great people in chat. And most love to talk. Some just sit quietly in the room and surf, but if you say hi to people that enter and ask how they are, they always respond and seem to want to chat. Sweetie, you've been through an awful lot with the cancer, and everything else for that matter. A lot of changes in your life in the last few years. Lord knows, I wouldn't have come through it as intact as you are now, but you're doing a lot better than you think. I watch it from this end. I know you're going through a lot of anxiety again, and I think part of that is because your life is at another crossroads again. You don't yet know which way you want to go with everything, if I'm seeing things clearly. But whenever you finally decide what you want to do, you always seem to be better again. It's like you find the path you need to take, and then you can follow it. And the anxiety seems to lessen again. You know...as long as I've known you, you beat yourself up over not being what you think you "should" be. You're harder on yourself than anyone else would ever be. You need to let yourself have some leeway right now. You're entitled to not feel up to doing everything or even "anything" right now. We all go through changes. And we need...our minds and bodies need...that time to adjust to them. That's why we need sleep/vacations/meditation/prayer/pizza , etc. They help us put things in perspective. So does just sitting around sometimes. You need to allow yourself that. Give yourself that. You deserve it. I didn't realize that Matt was working so much. I hope it's not a permanent situation with him having to work so many days so often. He must be exhausted. I can't believe Dev is turning 18 already. Geez Rhe, where did the time go? He was so little when we first met, remember? I know you'll have a great party for him. Please give him a big hug for me on his birthday and tell him I said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" lol If I can get myself out of the house this week to go to the store...yes...I said go out, lol...I will try to get a card for him and send it. It probably won't make it in time, but I'll try. Don't tell him though...just in case I can't make it outside, i don't want him to be disappointed. If he even remembers who I am anymore. lol You know you can call me anytime you need me hon. I'm here. I'll be out in the evening one night this week, and at the dentist on the 7th, but other than that, I have no plans yet. We can still do email if you want. I'm fine with that too if you want to do it. As for camping...it was ok. I was sick through most of it. Jas worked his butt off doing everything Jeff should have been there doing. He was pretty angry with his father for all of this. But, I am so dang proud of him I could bust. lol He's limping, caught my brothers cold, and sore as all get-out, but he is proud of himself too. He made a campfire the boyscouts would have envied (I took a pic before he even lit it...lol). Then we sat holding hands on the bench and he said, "We're doing it Mom." And I said, "Yes we are baby, in spite of him." Then, when we got home, he started working out! That kid amazes me. lol He is such a trooper. Hi Rhe, Just had a few minutes to pop on. Saw your blog, so I thought I'd come see your page again. Looking good. :) I'm still packing and still have a few things to do tonight, but I think by morning it will just be food that needs to be packed. Then I can start loading up. I'm looking forward to this time with my son. I'm exhausted from the packing, but I feel pretty dang good, all things considering. I am also looking forward to a week of freedom from all the stress here at home. You know what I mean. lol I was glad to see you come to the site today, and that you're keeping this connection.
