Horror, documentaries, romantic comedies, sci-fi, action/adventure, musicals. Heck, I watch just about anything.

RocknRoll and Golden Oldies are my favorite, but I like songs from various genres. Journey (especially when Steve Perry was with them) is my favorite band. I usually have music on all day long. It moves me, soothes me, and inspires me.

Mostly horror, but I don't find a lot of time to read these days.

In 1980, I developed SA and Agoraphobia, though I think it was lying dormant long before that (I always longed to become a hermit. Oops, wait, I made it.).
I've spent the years since trying to understand, first...what caused it, and second...how to get rid of it.
I have been out of mainstream society for almost 30 years, and am now forcing myself to relearn to talk to people again so I can rejoin it.
I may screw up and say something dumb on occasion in chat or in person when I'm nervous or too tired from the insomnia and lack of sleep, but bear with me please. I'm worth having as a friend.

Each and every step of motherhood (my only child is now grown).
Sitting by a nice warm fire. They're soooo relaxing.
Camping/fishing/hiking/nature/wildlife, swimming, starry skies, walking in the sand, and lying in the sun (though I don't get to do much of it these days, due to the SA and Agor).
Music.
Thunderstorms and blizzards (grew up in Buffalo, NY).
Holidays (Christmas is my favorite).
Reading a good scary book.
Office equipment/supplies (wierd, I know, but always wanted to start a biz, which I'm now finally attempting).
Collecting items for my North Pole Christmas village.
Talking to honest people, and to those who can speak straight from the heart.

Lies.

I like designing, collecting, writing (poetry mostly), birdwatching, and crafts when the mood hits me.

Hi There. Thanks for leaving a comment on my photo. It was a lovely sunny day when I took the photo 2 weeks ago and the traffic lights sign was on a country road near Dublin City.I just read your blog and it was thought provoking.I have just discovered SAF and think it is a wonderful place for us :-)
Love your green layout!

I actually hated the movie, but I generally dislike that director. But I love the book!

Hi evrgrn. I like green, and your tree. They're so calming, lol.

I remember SAS was such a godsend when I first encountered it, so I know how you feel. :) Anyway, yes we're all definitely glad to have you aboard here! Welcome home (to you second one, maybe, at least hehe), and welcome to another step in the journey of your healing.

Best,
Mark
