So my mom and I were shopping at Walmart the other day, and it was about to rain. We were just going to pick up a couple of items because our refrigerator was almost empty. Half-way through the entrance, my mom is pushing the cart through the vegetable aisle, and she hits a Tongan lady's cart from the side a little. The Tongan lady's cart was so close that it was hard to get through. I heard her yell "Bitch!", while my mom and I were already at the other side of the aisle. She came to face my mom at a distance. "Ma, I think she's talking to us." We turn around, and she says "DID YOU KNOW YOU HIT MY CART!?" My mom and I tried appologizing and saying we didn't see at first (because we didn't know what to say at the time...like her cart was too close). But the lady just kept yelling and cursing at us. So I felt I had to defend my mom, and she didn't want to take this crap either. "She didn't see! we're sorry!" -me "I'm sorry I didn't see!"-mom. "Why don't you open your eyes next time, BITCH?"-the lady "Well. S-orry."-me "Don't call me bitch. You 817c# for yelling!"-mom. Her husband just kept staring at us as she went to the other side. SERIOUSLY. I know my mom shouldn't have bumped into her cart, but she wasn't blind. We saw her cart, but didn't think she'd get mad if we just squeezed a little ways in. Her cart was seriously closing up the way through the other end of the aisle. We didn't even hit her cart too bad, just like squeezed past it with a noticable, yet subtle sound. I don't know to explain it. Just hope you're all visually-oriented. hehe.
That lady could've approached us rationally, and although a little mad, try to be polite. Because who's going to listen to you if you treat them like a female dog? I don't like it when people automatically use cursing and confrontation to get people to listen.
