I will pray for you
Posted On 07/28/2008 08:13:00 by thefreed

I was reading a book named Your Best Life Now by Joel Ostin and this part caught my attention.

Let's say you had 20$, you'd want it right? well let's say I would scribble on it, crush it and make it dirty you'd still want it right? How about I run over it wiith a car and make it so dirty that you can hardly realize its 20$. You'd still want it because no matter how much it's dirtied it still has the same value in it. People are like money, even if were dirtied and have no self confidence we are still the same value. Some people might think that we are worth far less since after we got social phobia but I don't think that's the case. We still have the same no we might even have greater value in ourselves then back then*. You get me here? lol sorry it might not sound persuasive cuz AGAIN I had to translate it from Korean... (I read some of the books that my mom reads).

For me I always thought I had become of far less value as a human being then when I didn't have sad. To me it seemed like I had fallen over some cliff and in order to even get back to how I was, was a long journey by itself, but no it wasn't like that we were just climbing the stairs of life, when we just met a wall. That's it I mean we just met a wall that was hard to climb, but if we climb this wall, we well go more higher then anyone.

Man I am so tired today, I don't know why... hmmm anyways I hope this really helped you. Thx for listening

Very cool, and it makes a lot of sense. I'll keep that in mind next time I'm down.
