2 weeks ago I took yet another risk and took myself to the School of Rock Music Festival. The whole event lasted 9 hours outside in Penn's Landing, Philadelphia, PA. Overall, the experience was fantastic! i had much fun despite being by myself with no one I knew. The major bands who played: Westbound Train, Suburban Legends, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, and Dropkick Murphys.
Pros: Had lots of fun, great music and bands.
One of the gutarists from the band "Suburban Legends" threw his guitar pick to the crowd and I caught it! I felt sorry to a kid that was close to getting it so I gave it to him.
Cons: The pick I caught apparently upset a guy about my age. He asked what I did with it and I told him I gave it away. Then I ask why, he mistakenly thinks I said "What's your problem", but I immediately didn't want any trouble so I just said, "No no no, I just gave it away," and walked away. Its jerks like him that bring me down but I'm still standing strong! :)
I got really dehydrated after the whole show, the food and drinks were expensive and I couldn't spend that much.
Today, I plan to once again, go alone to another concert, but its only lasting a few hours and its indoors. I'll let you guys know what went down tonight.
Thanks for reading :D.
