Older and older
Posted On 12/15/2007 12:48:55 by ColdFury

Feeling very lonely tonight (like usual). I'm going to be 25 in a little more than a month and don't really have anything to show for it. People I went to high school with are getting married, starting families, having kids. Meanwhile I have yet to even date or even kiss a girl. There's no hope or prospect of this changing. I'm never in any situations where I could meet anyone, and even if I was I'd just have an anxiety attack. I see couples everywhere and it just reminds me. I hate it. Its especially bad now that its the holidays. Everyone is being happy and enjoying each other's company, and I have nobody to spend it with. Everyday I'm just getting older...

I stopped going to my therapist. He was a waste of time, just like all the previous therapists. I am done bothering with them.

I can relate.  I'll be 26 in less than a month.  I have friends who are married, some with children.  Even a lot of the people in my classes are married.  Makes me feel left out and lonely.  But, it'll happen someday.  Don't give up!

I feel your pain... I know kids my age or younger (yeah i call then 'kids) that are already married/preggers and it... freaks me out. a lot. (at the same time, i feel ancient as well). anyway, dont feel bad on yourself too much... i know its easier said than done, but still.

those holiday movies make it particulary bad on us single folk as well, dont they? dont give up hope... youre still young and got a lot to look forward to.

Try 32 1/2 guys

I haven't given up hope.  :)

It's our mindset, plain and simple. We are nice guys. Face it, we're smart, intuitive, friendly.
What's not to like? :D

Mmm, I can relate. At age 25, it's starting to really scare me :(
