Anxiety Med Appointment
Posted On 09/05/2007 01:00:54 by Jocelyn

I have an appointment with my doctor in 1 hour. Going to the doctor for most things is no longer a problem for me. However, going to the doctor when I need a new prescription for my anti-anxiety medication is anxiety provoking.

Each time I have to request another prescription for the anti-anxiety meds, I wonder... What if he decides not to give it to me this time? What the hell will I do? I'll be screwed.

I'm trying to chill and tell myself all will be well but I can't quite get rid of that sinking, tense, feeling. Frown

I'm kinda the opposite. I've never tried any meds. I'm more worried about what the meds will do to me! That's why I'ver never asked for any.. that and I suppose no one really ever thought I needed them. I think I would have to push pretty hard to get them.

A good doctor would never do that. Do you go to a pychiatrist or a general physisian?

(((hugs)))  It should be ok if you already have the rx.  Getting it in the first place is the hard part.  Good luck!
