i know exactly how you feel...and I happen to be an engineer too...

lol how to change is one problem we obviously can't solve analytically lol

Yeah, but considering how many attempts i've made so far...ugh. I figure with a lot of practice I will get the hang of driving. I just need to find someone patient enough to deal with me while i learn the ropes and get over my initial freakouts. The one thing i like about instructors cars is that they have an extra wheel in case i do something stupid.
