Hi my name is Andy. I was diagnosed with social and generalized anxiety disorder as well as post-traumatic stress disorder about a year ago. But, I'm not sure if these are my underlying problems or just symptoms of a deeper problem. At any rate, I reached a difficult point in my life last year with depression, anxiety, and agoraphobia. Since then, I've gotten help and I've been able to recover and reach a level of healthy living again. My family life has been an ordeal since I was toddler because of several issues like alcoholism, child abuse, and family dysfunction in general. Recently, (about two years ago) my dad revealed that he is a transexual and has always had an inborn desire to be a woman. So in addition to the usual problems associated with living in an alcoholic family, it now feels like I have lost my dad too. And to compound my problems further, my brother (who has severe autism) will have to move away within the next year because my parents are getting too old and will be unable to take care of him. So it honestly feels like my family is disintegrating. In the meantime I'm trying the best that I can to graduate from college (I am an Accounting Major) and hoping that my dad will eventually return to the workforce (he's been unemployed for about eight years). Since I have started seeing a counselor and taking prescription medication, my life has improved exponentially and I'm starting to feel more like my old self. If anyone wants to talk or anything I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to leave me a comment or message! =)

You Act Like You Are 28 Years Old

You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life.

You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.

The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.

I'm the best? Nah ANDY is the BEST. How are you and hows your ankle? I'm back off holiday now, I had a great time no anxiety what so ever. I also figured out what I want to be when I'm older and what I'm going to do next year. I was bored one of the days and just figured it out, lol. Hope your well and your ankle is feeling better.

hehe I was going to ask that, if you were going to watch a lot of the olympics since you won't have much else to do. THat should keep you very entertained for about 2 weeks (I hope :) lol I thinking the US IS likely to get a medal for basketball...hopefully the colour of the medal will be yellow :P.
Really Andy? This is not good news...you won't be going to school this semester because of your ankle? Can't you take crutches with you, or something similar? It's really bad that that Ankle will keep you from school for one whole semester! I know if that happened to be it would throw my whole university schedule upside down...
How have you been Andy? What do you do during the day? I hope you're not getting bored...although it's very hard not to, I imagine. Too bad we're not next-door neighbours...then I'd visit you everyday and sign your cast :P
