I am college student in the Philadelphia area studying Political Science. I have been living with SA for as long as I can remember - dealing with it has been so much more difficult now that I am in college.

I am a hard-working and serious student. I am respectful, responsible, and tend to be empathetic toward others.

I have one older brother to whom I am very close, but he will be moving to Texas this summer.

I have a small group of friends who I see on the weekends but am realizing that they have other things to do in their lives, and so I get lonely when I do not get to see them.

I love cars. I drive a Nissan.

I have never had a girlfriend but want one badly...if not for any other reason but to be able to put my arms around her and tell her that her being in my life means more than she could ever imagine.

But SA controls my life. Not only do I never meet people but I hardly talk to any girls at all...and even if I did, I don't think that I would have the self-esteem to communicate such feelings.

Well, I'm hoping that joining this site can help me cope with my SA.

I'll make you a deal...I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers if you do the same for me. One day, we will all get through SA and get back to living the good life :)
