I'm interested in a lot of different subjects besides philosophy. I particularly like ancient and military history. I like to play computer games - mainly turn-based strategy games or rpgs sometimes. I can play the guitar (competently) and piano (badly) but I'd like to learn more piano. I play poker on the internet. I'd love to go to more plays and operas. I talk to friends I met on the internet about philosophy a lot.

Dr.Strangelove, Taxi Driver, Blue Velvet, Django, A Clockwork Orange, Brazil, Once Upon a Time in the West, Unforgiven, Eraserhead, Conan the Barbarian, Barry Lyndon - lots of others.

Mainly classical. Also classic rock / techno. Will listen to anything except pop music, most rap and R+B really.

I read mostly philosophy books now. I like literature esp. the ancient Greek classics. I've read some modern classics. I'd like to read more. In my childhood I read every Roald Dahl book at least 15 times. I'd read anything really.

Quiet/shy, intellectual, dislike groups, love 1-1 conversations, quirky/dark sense of humor, like staying up at night, very passionate about interests, appreciate serious people, unusual beliefs.

Occupation -

I've finished a degree in philosophy and hope to go on to study further. Philosophy is my major passion. First I'm taking some time off and leaving this country, probably for Japan.

6'1, average build, average weight, short dark auburn hair, no beard. That's probably not very helpful. I'm not really ugly I think. I have had some relationships with attractive girls (long, long, long ago when I went outside)

Socially I'm rather poor unless it's a 1-1 situation and I know the person well. Then I can talk a lot and enjoy doing so immensely. I'd like to get more opportunities to talk to people which is why I'm creating an account here.
