Although these things are my hobbies, I don't actually 'enjoy' like I used to. But here they are:

watching spongebob, eating, sleeping, introspecting, thinking, reading, listening to music, playing videogames, fantasizing, you tube downloading things

^^^^^^^^^^Now that's one big bad-looking hog!

I usually watch movies from the action, adventure, horror, fantasy, and supernatural genres. Here are some of the movies I either watched and like:

chonicles of narnia the lion the witch and the wardrobe, willow, legend, never ending story, the matrix(part 1 only), spongebob the movie, oliver and company, all dogs go to heaven, the lion king, james and the giant peach, silent hill(the best movie adaption from a videogame), jacob's ladder, one flew over the cuckoo's nest, misery(so so funny), harold&kumar go to white castle, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith(the only star wars movie I like), the others, sixth sense

Anubis----The God Of Embalming, The Guide And Friend Of The Dead
(Yinepu, Anpu)
Symbols: jackal, ox-hide hanging from a pole, embalming equipment, flail, flags
Cult Center: Heliopolis, Cynopolis

Anubis is the greek version of his name. The Egyptians knew him as Anpu (or Inpu). Anubis was an extremely ancient deity whose name appears in the oldest mastabas of the Old Kingdom and the Pyramid Texts as a guardian and protector of the dead. He was originally a god of the underworld, but became associated specifically with the embalming process and funeral rites. His name is from the same root as the word for a royal child, "inpu". However, it is also closely related to the word "inp" which means "to decay", and one versions of his name (Inp or Anp) more closely resembles that word. As a result it is possible that his name changed slightly once he was adopted as the son of the King, Osiris. He was known as "Imy-ut" ("He Who is In the Place of Embalming"), "nub-tA-djser" ("lord of the scared land").

He was initially related to the Ogdoad of Hermopolis, as the god of the underworld. In the Pyramid Texts of Unas, Anubis is associated with the Eye of Horus who acted as a guide to the dead and helped them find Osiris. In other myth Anubis and Wepwawet (Upuaut) led the deceased to the halls of Maat where they would be judged. Anubis watched over the whole process and ensured that the weighing of the heart was conducted correctly. He then led the innocent on to a heavenly existence and abandoned the guilty to Ammit. The Egyptians believed that the preservation of the body and the use of sweet-smelling herbs and plants would help the deceased because Anubis would sniff the mummy and only let the pure move on to paradise. According to early myths, Anubis took on and defeated the nine bows (the collective name for the traditional enemies of Egypt) gaining a further epithet "Jackal ruler of the bows".

The growing power of the Ennead of Heliopolis resulted in the merging of the two religious systems. However, Osiris was the King of the Underworld in the Ennead and he was more popular (and powerful) than Anubis. So Anubis was relegated to a god of mummification. To save face it was stated that Anubis had voluntarily given up his position when Osiris died as a mark of respect. Some myths even stated that Anubis was the son of Osiris and Nephthys(who was herself associated with the funeral rites). Anubis was still closely involved in the weighing of the heart, but was more a guardian than a ruler. He became the patron of lost souls, including orphans, and the patron of the funeral rites. In this respect he overlapped with (and eventually absorbed) the Jackal God Wepwawet of Upper Egypt.
Anubis

During the Ptolemaic period Anubis became associated with the Greek god Hermes as the composite god Hermanubis. Hermes was messenger of the gods, while Anubis was principally guide of the dead. Hermanubis was some times given attributes of Harpokrates. He was worshipped in Rome until the second century and was popular with Rennaisance alchemists and philosophers.

Priests wore Anubis masks during mummification. However, it is not clear whether the Anubis mask was a later development influenced by the Osirian myth or whether this practice was commonplace in the earlier periods too. Anubis was also closely associated with the imiut fetish used during the embalming ritual. Anubis was credited with a high level of anatomical knowledge as a result of embalming, and so he was the patron of anaesthesiology and his priests were apparently skilled herbal healers.

Tombs in the Valley of the Kings were often sealed with an image of Anubis subduing the "nine bows" (enemies of Egypt) as "Jackal Ruler of the Bows" and it was though that the god would protect the burial physically and spiritually. One of his epithets, "tpy-djuf" ("he who is on his mountain") refers to him guarding the necropolis and keeping watch from the hill above the Theban necropolis. He was also given the epithet "khentyamentiu" ("foremost of the westerners" ie the dead) because he guarded the entrance to the Underworld.

He was originally thought to be the son of Ra and Hesat, Ras wife (who was identified with Hathor), but later myths held that he was the child of Osiris and Nephthys, or Set and Nephthys. He was sometimes described as the son of Bast because of her link to the perfumed oils used in embalming. His wife, Anput (his female aspect) was only really referred to in association with the 17th Nome of Upper Egypt. It is thought that they were the parents of Kebechet, the goddess of the purification.
Anubis

Dogs and jackals often patrolled the edges of the desert, near the cemeteries where the dead were buried, and it is thought that the first tombs were constructed to protect the dead from them. Anubis was usually thought of as a jackal (sAb), but may equally have been a wild dog (iwiw) He was usually depicted as a man with the head of a jackal and alert ears, often wearing a red ribbon, and wielding a flail. He was sometimes depicted as a jackal (such as in the beautiful examples from tutankhamuns tomb) but only rarely appears as a man (one example is in the cenotaph temple of Rameses II at Abydos). His skin or fur was generally black (not the brown associated with real jackals) because black was associated with fertility, and was closely linked to rebirth in the afterlife. In the catacombs of Alexandria he was depicted wearing Roman dress and the sun disk flanked by two cobras.

Anubis was worshipped throughout Egypt, but the center of his cult was in Hardai (Cynopolis) in the the 17th Nome of Upper Egypt. To the east of Saqqara there was a place known as Anubeion, where a shrine and a cemetery of mummified dogs and jackals was discovered. He was also worshipped at cult centers in Abt (the the 8th of Upper Egypt) and Saut (Asyut, in the 13th of Upper Egypt).

I'm pretty new to listening to music outside of videogames, so I'm no musical fanatic or know-it-all. The reason being is because I was forbidden to hear any form of 'secular' music. But now that I have more free will I have the opportunity to hear that sort of music.

I often listen to music in the rock n roll, pop, reggae-funk, R&B, and techno genres. I rarely listen to gospel because I only like the way it sounds but I dislike what its all about. Here's some of the artists/groups that I listen to:

Coheed and Cambria(my favorite modern-day rock band), GWAR, KISS, Megadeth, Lordi, Six(they scream too much), All That Remains(they do too), Killswitch Engage, Nile(I like what they're about), Men At Work(my 1st favorite 80's reggae rock band), Twisted Sister(my second favorite 80's rock band), Duran Duran(my third favorite 80's rock band), Michael Jackson(the best singer in my book), Sean Paul, Elephant Man, T.O.K, Beenie Man, Armand Van Helden, Freezepop

^^^^^^^^I WANNA ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

Although I did say I like to read, there aren't very many books I can think of listing since I make no trips to any book store. I usually read random things online. The kind of books that I do like are similar to the kind of movies I like. I will also list a few visualnovels(these are interactive choose-your-own-adventure books only distributed in Japan and in online stores that are played on your PC)since they are technically books too. This are the books I have read:

the autobiography of Malcolm X, as a man thinkenth, the lion the witch and the wardrobe(I absolutely love this), prince caspian, voyage of the dawn treader, silver chair, the skin i'm in(I hate this book), silver bullet, babe, the great gatsby, of men and mice, tsukihime(my favorite visual novel so far), fate/stay night(visualnovel), ever 17: out of infinity(visualnovel), kagetsu tohya(visualnovel)

Here's a clip from my favorite visualnovel, tsukihime. People who don't like to read would find visualnovels to be boring.....

I am thinking really hard about what I should be typing here because first of all I don't like talking about myself and there's not alot going on with me anyways. See, that right there usually turns EVERYONE off. But I don't care because I'm only expressing the truth.
Anyways, I am a 19 year old African American girl living in the not-so-great city of Detroit, Michigan. Nothing special so far, eh? I live with my mother and 2nd oldest bro(I love them both, they love me, and their the only people I know for certain that don't think I'm strange).I have a good enough set of mental problems that are sadly preventing me from enjoying the outside world. In fact, I haven't left my home since the last visit to my therapist. And guess how long ago that was folks; in March, two whole friggin' months ago! And to think that I could go years staying self-incarcerated in my own home if it weren't for my helpless therapist/doctor appointments.I assume those mental problems I mentioned, if anyone cares to know, are avoidant personality disorder, social phobia, schizoid personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, depression and paranoid personality disorder. I don't think I've been professionally diagnosed with these yet except for depression(I'm sure I have these disorders and probably more), so I will request for one during my next fateful visit to my therapist.

Since I allow my mental illnesses to dominate my life I actually don't have much of a life at all. I have a very low self-esteem, no friends except for my 2nd oldest bro and two online people I don't know too well, I am lazy, apathetic, unenthusiastic, I'm unemployed, of course I'm introverted so I feel like a detached observer of the world, and that's really all there is to say about me. The only thing I like about myself is my introversion, that I am somewhat independent, I can easily stay out of trouble by staying away from people, and I'm a proud vegetarian. My life is nothing but pure repetition and redundancy, which should drive any 'normie' out of their friggin' minds.

So I thought coming to a place like this could help me with my problems, but I'm sure it won't cure it.

And thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read about such a pathetic girl.

Hey-what up? Not much with me, I guess-I moved last week, and got a new job that won't start until September. I have an awful dial up connection at the moment, which has slowed me down on responding to stuff.

Hope you're doing great! Haven't been doing anything with my cartooning now, other than writing some scripts for...whatever. We'll see where that goes.
