Listening to music, watching movies, watching tv, surfing the net, playing my guitar (still not too good at it though), going to concerts, eating lol, shopping, reading, writing poems, hanging out w/ the few friends I do have.

Ppl that are really into music, especially rock, friendly, down-to-earth ppl, Jake Gyllenhaal (he is my man! lol), cats (love cats!), food (esp junk food)

Arrogant, stuck-up ppl that think they are better than everyone, ppl with attitudes, ppl that do drugs, rap (with the expection of Eminem) and country music (sorry but I can't stand it ahhhh!!), fake ppl, ppl who gossip about other ppl cuz they have nuthin better to do

My name is Luann. I'm 23 yrs old and I live in the most boring, unsafe town ever (we had a countless number of shootings here last year). I discovered I had Social Anxiety Disorder maybe 4 or 5 yrs ago. I was just looking up stuff on the computer and somehow came across this disorder and read all the symptoms and I was shocked. I thought it was just me and that I was weird and here I come to find I have some mental disorder! Everything fit me to a tee. I kept thinking, "This is me! I can't believe it!" I just couldn't get over it. So I got as much info as I could on the subject. But I never told anyone about it. It's something I've kept to myself for a long time for fear that ppl would laugh at me and say, "That's not a real disorder. Ur just shy and making it up." I still hold that fear but I am actually attemping to get help now. Well my friends (2 friends that is, maybe 3) forced me to get help or else they would take me. So I made the phone call (which I was a nervous wreck and crying) to my doctor about it. I'm taking Effexor now and seeing a psychologist once a week. Things are going a lil better now. Hopefully it stays that way!
