Playing my guitar, watching the history channel, and conspiracy theories.

I have somewhat eclectic tastes but my focus tends to be on foreign and classic films. I do have a soft spot for the good old B-horror movies like Re-animator, Dead Alive, The Toxic Avenger, etc and certain comedies like Napoleon Dynamite and Office Space.

I have way too many favorites to make an all-inclusive list but among them are the works of Akira Kurosawa like Ran, Sanjuro, Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, and Rashomon.

Ingmar Bergman is another one of my favorite directors as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Amelie, City of Lost Children, Delicatessen).

I am also a huge John Waters fan (Pink Flamingos, Polyester, Female Trouble, Desperate Living).

Documentaries are cool too. I really really like Michael Palins' BBC travel logs.

Music is my true passion. I love listening to music and playing it on my guitar.

I listen to and enjoy most all styles from ethnic/world to old school punk (Heartbreakers, Richard Hell, the Clash, Ramones, Dead Boys) to metal (Pantera, Fu Manchu, Hatebreed) to classic country (Merle Haggard, Dave Dudley).

My primary musical interest is jazz with my favorite players being Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin and of course Miles Davis.

The last books I read were:
"Please Kill Me, the Uncensored oral History of Punk" by Legs McNeil

"In Search of Schrodinger's Cat" by John Gribbin which is about quantum psychics. I didn't understand a word but it was still fascinating.

I like people who are considerate without being phony.

I am bothered by rude and boorish behavior and especially don't like people who mock others.

I have had social anxiety for as long as I can remember, but it has gotten markedly worse over the last few years. I have great difficulty taking to people and it's quite a struggle to even go out in public.

I do have lots of activities that keep me busy in my solitude. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and love to study philosophy, history, and science. I like to watch movies, listen to and play music and read.

The mp3s I have are various original tunes I have written along with some recordings of me playing along with various backing tracks.

...and I like tattoos!
