Social anxiety and lack of self esteem control my life right now. I'm just starting to make slight progress after years of having given up.

I'm very awkward when speaking to people for the first time (even online), and like many others here it's difficult for me to open up. I'm not likely to send a first message or comment, but anyone who wants to should feel free to send a message and I will be happy to talk.

Quiet people/places, nerdy or artsy people, compassion, humor, moonlight, watching grass grow

Loud people/places, materialism, religion, leaf blowers and chainsaws

Listening to music, attempting to play the piano, playing old video games, hiking, nature, philosophy, movies, growing vegetables, being addicted to youtube.

does ceiling cat have a quick acquisition mode?

because right now he's only 75% badass. If he were to have it he'd be 100% badass

Yeah its from "Wizard and Glass". I finnished it not too long ago and know I'm reading the next book.

Did you know that Marvel made a comic book based on the flashback part of "Wizard and Glass"?

Haha, well I suppose if I had been forced to take lessons I would have hated it too. Anything that's not my decision is met with disdain.

Your weekends don't sound much different from mine. I go out to eat on Saturday or Sunday with the parents and that's about it, though when there's a holiday or birthday there's always family get-togethers to attend.

I like going to Barnes & Noble sometimes and reading in their comfy chairs. I used to do that for exposures, though I was supposed to be paying attention to my surroundings instead of immersing myself in a book.

I like how you've arranged your movie and music sections, that's nifty.

If you managed to stick with piano lessons for a year you did better than me! I just practiced on my keyboard for a few months at a time. I can't really play much beyond "Jingle Bells" and "When the Saints go Marching In". Clarinets have a beautiful sound. I'm also a fan of stringed instruments. I have a cousin that plays the harp, apparently it's quite difficult to learn.

How did your weekend go? Do anything fun? I hope you did something nice for your mom. :P
