Honesty, a sense of humor, and Shania Twain.

Narcissism, judgmental people, and myself.

All right, so this has been blank for a while and I figure I should add something. My real name's Matthew, and I'm 26 years old from Maryland, USA. Despite being an outgoing child, I started to suffer from Social Anxiety in my early teens. I suppose it was caused by a number of factors, from being teased, to heredity, to losing my childhood friends and lacking the fortitude and know-how to gain new friends. I eventually dropped out of high school and have been unable to get my life back on track since. So here I am, looking for people to relate to, and the motivation to get things moving again.

I have a lot of aspirations, it's just a matter of formulating a plan to go about completing them. I always did well in school, but I feel like a complete failure having dropped out of high school. Though I earned my GED, I can't see myself being satisfied until I earn a degree in college. I'd love to have a steady job and finally gain my independence. It's hard to feel like an adult when I'm still reliant on other people.

I've never been a member of an Anxiety Group before, so this is a new experience for me. I'd love to make some friends and have people to talk with. The days are long and my time is available, so anyone that has the desire can feel free to message me or leave a comment!

Hey, how's it goin'? I've been going nuts because we have no Internet over at my dad's until the cable company makes up their mind to come and fix the splitter up stairs. So, I'm over at my grandmother's until the middle of next week. It's good to get away from my dad's, I get no privacy there.

I do have a couple of things to look forward to. I'm shooting a test on my super 8mm movie camera next week. And next weekend I'll be photographing a professional bodybuilding contest. My dad is competing. I'm sure it's going to be a socially awkward nightmare for me, but I hope to come back with a few good pics.

Hope you're having a good 4th.

Well I can tell you that your vacation sounds loads more fun than any vacation of mine(well technically I'm always on vacation lol).Wow you like swimming I wish I knew how to swim, just in case of unexpected emergencies like floods. And swimming does seem like one of the most fitting things to do in the summer. Yeah I think I'd also be upset to have a vacation like yours come to an end(I so desperately need recreation ). I suppose being active is much more beneficial for every living creature than being inactive(and less boring too).

But you don't think its a waste of time to get a driver's license just to be able to acquire a motorcycle license(well where I live its called an add-on or endorsement)? Cars and motorcycles are two different types of vehicles. So why the heck should we learn to drive cars before motorcycles? It might as well be the other way around as far as I'm concerned. Really there are a few states where you can just get a motorcycle license without already having a car license. If your serious about getting one(or more lol)you really ought to take a little trip to one of these states(I think California is one) and go for it dude! I plan to myself someday.

Btw, I hope your having a fresh and nice Independence Day(I wish I was).

It wasn't a big party and some people decided not to come because it rained a little bit at the start of the party. But I didn't mind. I actually didn't want a huge party with tons of people. So, it was just mainly close family and friends. I did get lots of gifts and money too.

I'm glad your vacation was nice. It sounds like it was a lot of fun. I wish I could take a vacation. It's been so rainy here lately, that I haven't been able to do much of anything at all so far this summer. And it's supposed to keep raining until sometime next week. I can relate to you about sitting around all day. That's basically my everyday as well. It gets so boring and I'm usually by myself, which I hate. Any plans for the 4th of July weekend?
